Yeah, after long-tired journey and have no time for sharing some experiences that should be record as the written proof that I ever make a history, at least for my children #exaggerating HAHAHA
Okayy, my blog-work for this month is about telling you where I has been since my last posting, HAHAHA
Because most of my activities are DEBATING, so I'll start this post with my debate carrier.
A brief history of my long-debate journey
First, EDETECT, Economics Dean Trophy English Debate Competition (November 2010). Me my self as the representative of HMPS (Himpunan Mahasiswa Prodi Diploma) because it is Faculty level. That was my first time learnt how debate is so interesting. We was trained for at least two weeks. And the final result is WE ARE THE SECOND WINNER J
Second, IFDC, Inter Faculty Debating Championship (June 2011). This is internal competition of Jenderal Soedirman University student which is prestigious. I am as representative of Economics faculty, as ECONOMIC A with my mate, Imani Kholida Qais and Husadanti Kusumaningrum. And we reach 3rd WINNER, we bring one prestigious trophy to our faculty. Fyi, the preparation of IFDC is about 5 months, you know, me who obviously have no bases on debating should debate in varsity level. And that how the effort of our great coaches to create Golden generation on debating, and yeaaah even we are not winning the competition but we bring a lot of achievement for our faculty. Second WINNER, third WINNER, quarter finalist, six Nominee of Best of The best Speaker (BOTBS). This actually my step stone to be a better debater as another great university have.
Third, BAWOR cup (July 2011). My first national tournament purwokerto-based. My team, EFEC UNSOED A with my mate, Riswanto Yusuf didn't broke to the eliminary roun, only best 16 teams are deserve to go (I am breaking #17, you know -..- ). We only collect 8 Victory point. Not too cool, we broke into NOVICE FINAL. And we make it, yeah we DID. Grabbing the title of NOVICE CHAMPION after defeating UNILA (elsa, heryanto) , BINUS (Tania, Julius), and BASIC UNSOED ( Duta n his mate). And that achievement bring me to compete in KUALA LUMPUR OPEN CHALLENGE, Malaysia J
Fourth, Kuala Lumpur Open Challenge (August 2011). We (me and Riswanto Yusuf) as UNSOED 2, our senior debater (arbi and yudi) as UNSOED 1.This is my first International debate competition, meet with another international debater such as from National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Universiti of Malaya (UM), Multimedia University (MMU) and so on. But, we didn't broke to eliminary round -___________-, we only collect 7 victory point (at least 8 VP for breaking). But we get title as Indonesian best Team Performance in KLOC, defeating our brother UNSOED 1, UNSRI, UNNES, and UNEJ.
Fifth, EASA Regional Debate Competition ( October 2011). We are representing EFEC UNSOED (me and Riswanto again -..- ), and we get the FINAL round, but then we failed. Another good news is that I got The Best of The Best Speaker (BOTBS) and Riswanto as 2nd BOTBS. Cool enough.
Sixth, Nationwide English Parade (October 2011) that was held in Universitas Lampung, Lampung. As usual my team consist of me and Riswanto (feel bored? I am not :p) we broke the 4th and advance to the semifinal round. But again, we failed in semifinal after defeated by our brother UNSOED A (we as UNSOED B) and BAKRIE A -_______________- NOT COOL at all . but we bring 3rd WiNNER trophy that got by UNSOED A. HAHAHA
And my next debate tourney will be
- 2nd EDETECT as Deputy Chief Adjudicator (November 2011)
- Singapore Debate Open as debater mate with Riswanto Yusuf (December 2011)
- Asian English Olympic (BINUS University, Jakarta) as debater mate with Rahmawati Puji Lestari (February 2012)
I wish I can join IVED and NUEDC next year :DD
I WISH I CAN IMPROVE A LOT and bring the great name of University :DD
